“This must be paradise” he almost shouted…

Pure Harmony

The journey of The Bradshaws…

We had been searching for the perfect home and location nearly a year and our Swedish broker with lots of patients almost gave up on us. He had shown us plots, modern villas, villas to renovate around the Marbella area. A lot of the properties were really good but that feeling of when you know it’s right, never came to us.

One beautiful morning in May, the broker called my husband and told him that he wanted to show us something different approx. 10-15 minutes’ drive from the coast up in the Ronda mountains. We had asked him for properties close to the sea, but he insisted on taking us there. He told us to bring our passport with us, since it is mandatory to show to the security guards before they would let us in. On the Ronda way up, we could not stop looking at the beautiful scenery and I remember that my husband whispered, “this could be it, honey”.

When we arrived at the property my heart started to beat faster. I looked at my husband and he had that excited look on his face. “This must be paradise” he almost shouted. The broker and I smiled at each other and I could not stop looking at the magical view of the surrounding mountains, the Mediterranean Sea, Gibraltar and Africa at the back and the beautiful architecture of the villa. If I could call this my home, I would wake up every morning with a big smile.

We have now lived in our beautiful home in La Zagaleta for nearly 5 years and everyday feels like a dream in paradise. We have all we could ever ask for and more. Everyone has been so welcoming and to be able to socialise with other homeowners at the clubhouse or to play golf, tennis or paddle is just pure joy. Our daughter has recently started horseback riding at the stable and she loves it. I’m so thankful for all this and we are living in pure harmony.
